About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to moving services provided by Teachers Who Move. The written final quote you accept for a specific move, together with any terms stated on it, governs that booking.
Estimates and quotes
Prices shown on this website and in the online estimator are preliminary starting estimates, not binding quotes. Your final price is the one stated on the written final quote we send you and you accept. If circumstances on the day differ materially from what you described — significantly more items, additional flights of stairs, no parking access, items requiring additional crew — the price may change, and we will tell you before continuing rather than afterwards.
Booking and deposit
A move is booked when you accept the written final quote and pay the booking deposit. The deposit is applied to your final balance.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about your move, to have items ready as agreed, to arrange building access, elevator reservations and parking where those are within your control, to remove or separately transport restricted items, and to be present or to nominate an adult who can make decisions on your behalf.
Items we will not transport
We do not transport hazardous materials, firearms or ammunition, illegal substances, open food, unsecured liquids, items containing fuel, or extremely valuable artwork, jewelry or collectibles. Pianos, safes, extremely heavy items and long-distance work require prior approval. Our full restricted list is published on this website and may be updated.
Cancellation
Cancellation terms are set out in our cancellation policy and on your written quote. That policy is currently marked provisional and requires confirmation before launch.
Limitations
