How to pay less

Four things that genuinely lower your price

  1. Be completely packed

The single biggest variable. Not being packed when the crew arrives can add one to three hours.

  2. Sort the parking

A long carry costs time on every trip, so it compounds. A dock or driveway is worth more than it looks.

  3. Disassemble in advance

Bed frames and table legs off, hardware bagged and taped to the item.

  4. Avoid the end of the month

Mid-month and mid-week dates are easier to book and easier to plan well.

Honest advice

When we are not the cheapest option

If you are moving a real two- or three-bedroom household, renting a truck and booking labor-only help at both ends will usually beat paying an hourly crew with a cargo van to make several trips. We will tell you that rather than quote you the more expensive service.

If your move is genuinely tiny — one item across town — book furniture delivery at $149 instead of a three-hour van minimum.

And if you need long-distance, interstate, commercial or same-day moving, we do not offer those and will say so.

Pricing questions

What people ask about price

When does the clock start and stop?

On arrival at your pickup address, and it stops when the last item is placed at your destination. Drive time between your two addresses is on the clock. Our travel to your first address is not.

What is a minimum, and why is there one?

Every hourly booking is billed for at least the stated minimum whether or not the work takes that long. It covers scheduling a crew — and, for van bookings, a vehicle — into your window. Labor-only is a two-hour minimum; van and crew is three hours.

Do you charge more for evenings, weekends or holidays?

No. We work seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and every hour in that window is billed at the same rate. A Saturday evening costs what a Tuesday morning costs.

Are there hidden fees?

No. Every charge we might apply is listed on this page, shown on your preliminary estimate and restated on your written final quote. If something on the day would change the price, we tell you before we continue rather than afterwards.

How much is the deposit?

$100, applied to your final balance. It is requested only after we have reviewed your request and sent you a written final quote — never when you first submit the form.

How do you take payment?

The booking deposit is paid through Stripe Checkout, on Stripe’s own secure page — no card details are entered on this website or stored by us. The balance is settled on completion.
