How it works
How booking a move works
Four steps, no surprises, and nothing is booked until you have seen the price in writing.
The four steps
-
Tell us about your move
Use the quote form — service, addresses, access, items, date and contact details. It takes about five minutes, you can add photographs, and your answers are saved if you need to come back to it.
The details that matter most are your floors, whether there is an elevator, how far the vehicle can get from the door, and whether you will be fully packed. Those four answers move an estimate more than anything else.
-
Review your preliminary estimate
You see an estimated range immediately, with the included services, the minimums and every possible additional charge listed.
This is a preliminary estimate, not your final confirmed quote. It is calculated from what you told us, and we say so clearly on the screen.
-
Receive and approve your final quote
We review the request, ask about anything unclear, and send a written final quote with the arrival window and the total.
Your move is not booked until you accept that quote. If something in it does not look right, tell us and we will fix it before you commit.
-
Pay the deposit and get moving
A $100 deposit confirms the booking and is applied to your final balance. Then we show up in your window and do the job.
The deposit is requested only after we have reviewed your move and sent the final quote — never at the point you submit a request.
On the day
What actually happens when the crew arrives
- The crew lead introduces the team and walks the space with you.
- You point out what is fragile, what is not going and where things land.
- We protect the route — floors, door frames, shared corridors.
- We wrap, load and sequence the vehicle so nothing shifts in transit.
- At the destination we place items in the room you choose, not by the door.
- We walk the space with you again before we leave.
How to make your move cheaper and faster
- Be completely packed before the crew arrives
- Disassemble bed frames and table legs, hardware bagged and taped to the item
- Sort out parking, the elevator reservation and building access in advance
- Keep the first-open box, documents and valuables with you
- Tell us about anything heavy, awkward or restricted before the day
What we cannot move
This list exists for the safety of our crews, your belongings and everyone else on the road. If you are not sure about something, ask us before your move date rather than on it.
- Hazardous materials — Flammables, corrosives, aerosols, pool chemicals, paint thinners and similar.
- Firearms or ammunition — We do not transport these under any circumstances.
- Illegal substances — We do not transport these under any circumstances.
- Open food — Sealed, shelf-stable food is fine; open packages are not.
- Unsecured liquids — Anything that can leak inside a vehicle or a box.
- Items containing fuel — Mowers, generators, motorcycles and grills with attached tanks must be drained and disconnected first.
- Extremely valuable artwork, jewelry or collectibles — Carry these yourself or use a specialist.
- Pianos — Not without approval in advance — they need specific equipment and crew.
- Safes — Not without approval in advance.
- Extremely heavy items — Not without approval in advance.
- Items that cannot fit safely in the vehicle — We will tell you before your date if we can see this coming.
- Interstate or long-distance jobs — Not without management approval.
- Pets and live plants — Please plan to transport these yourself.
Deposit, payment and cancellation
A $100 deposit confirms your booking and is applied to your final balance. It is requested only after we have reviewed your request and sent you a written final quote — never at the point you submit the form. It is paid through Stripe Checkout on Stripe's own secure page, so no card details are entered on this website or stored by us.
About these prices. Prices shown are starting estimates. Your final quote may vary based on distance, time, stairs, elevators, parking access, item weight, packing materials, additional crew members, tolls and other move details. Every booking receives written final confirmation before the move.
