Why customers choose us

Moving help built around trust and communication

Organized

We approach every move with a clear plan — the access, the item list and the sequence, agreed before the day.

Communicative

You know what happens before, during and after the move, and you have it in writing.

Patient

We take time to understand your priorities: which room, which items matter, what you are worried about.

Community-minded

Every completed move helps support DMV classrooms with school supplies.

Meet our educators

The educators behind your move

Our crews are made up of educators and education professionals who understand the importance of preparation, patience and clear communication. Meet some of the people bringing those qualities to every move.

Every move is staffed by educators and education professionals. Everyone who takes an assignment completes moving, lifting, equipment, safety and customer-service training first.

We introduce crew members here by name and photograph only with their written permission. A teacher's name, face and school are theirs, not ours.

How it works

Four steps, and no surprises

  1. Tell us about your move

Service, addresses, access, items and dates — about five minutes.

  2. Review your preliminary estimate

An hour range and price, with every possible extra charge listed.

  3. Receive and approve your final quote

In writing, with your arrival window. Nothing is booked until you accept.

  4. Pay the deposit and get moving

A $100 deposit confirms the date and comes off your final balance.

Community impact

Moving homes. Supporting classrooms.

Teachers Who Move puts $20 from every completed move toward classroom supplies and support for local teachers in the DMV. It comes out of what we earn, never added to your bill. As the business grows, so does our ability to support educators and students in our community.

Customer stories

We publish customer stories only with the customer's permission, and only from moves we have actually completed.

We will not publish a review we did not receive from a real customer, and we will not publish anyone's words without their permission.
